Ok, so here’s the deal. I asked who wanted my workout from this weekend and 58 of you replied. So that means I expect some serious sweat with this little gem. The good news: it’s short. The bad news: it’s not sweet. Kidding. It’s awesome. There are some intense moves here (hello, 1 legged burpees…) Modify as needed. Be strong, but not stupid (I mean that in the nicest way.)
Watch the video for the demos. Here are the exercises in order.
Warm Up:
3 minutes of jumping jacks/running in place/high knees/etc
Workout:
Skaters
Push Up/Punch
Skydivers (really focus on squeezing shoulder blades together as you lift upper body up.)
1 Leg Burpee – Right Leg (modify regular burpees, if needed)
1 Leg Burpee – Left Leg (modify with plank, if needed)
Super Diamonds
Burpee Jacks
Alternating Jump Lunges (modify with alternating reverse lunges, if needed)
Tricep Push Ups
Perform each exercise for 30 seconds, not rest between exercises. Rest 30 seconds between rounds. Repeat 3 rounds. In the video I say 3-5 rounds – that was BEFORE I did the workout. I think you’ll find 3 rounds to be enough awesome for one day. 3 rounds will take exactly 15 minutes (not counting the warm up.)
Remember, with any sort of High Intensity Interval(HIIT) workout you are getting the following benefits:
1. Increased metabolic boost – higher than traditional cardio
2. High calorie burner – burning more calories than normal during the workout
3. Greater afterburn – burning extra calories for 24-48 hours after the workout is complete
4. Targeting belly fat – this is the only cardio that targets belly fat
5. High calorie burner – burning more calories that normal during the workout
6. Shortened workout time – you can perform HIIT for a fraction of the time as regular cardio and get much greater benefits.

I didn’t think I could sweat so much in just 15 minutes!
